Meet the Islander 42. She’s a nod at the Spanish Iläut, a classic fishing boat.
She is a dayboat built for traveling European waterways at a sweet 19-knot cruise. She has two staterooms, a forepeak master and a twin-berth guest stateroom to accommodate four people.
The Islander line is designed by naval architect Iñigo Toledo and built at Minorca Yachts’ Sasga Yard in the Balearic Islands.
Quick Specs: The Islander 42 is 43’5″ LOA, has a beam of 13’1″ and fuel capacity of 317 gallons.
Flybridge Option: The Islander 42 comes in a flybridge version, for those who want to feel the wind in their hair while cruising.
Like what you see? She has siblings. Her little sister, the Islander 34, made an appearance at the Miami International Boat Show earlier this year. She also has two big sisters, the Islander 54 and 68.
