Fort Lauderdale-based 26 North Yachts is heralding the 85-foot Burger Checkmate as the builder’s finest offering on the brokerage market today, with an asking price of $1,695,000.
Checkmate, which has an aluminum hull, recently left the Northeast and is bound for South Florida, where she will be available for viewings.
The yacht is a 1999 build that underwent a refit in late 2011 and had additional upgrades in 2013. Work included new interior soft goods, window treatments, flybridge modifications, exterior paint, servicing of running gear and stabilizers, installation of new audiovisual equipment and an HD satellite dome, a tune-up of the air conditioning and more.
Power is a pair of 1,400-horsepower Caterpillars that the brokerage house says provide a cruising speed of 18 knots and a top speed of 23 knots.
