Tidewater Boats…

They say you can’t buy happiness, but you can buy a Tidewater boat… and that’s kind of the same thing! Let us introduce you to Tidewater Boats.

In 2006 Tidewater Boats began with a dream. With decades of marine craftsmanship, Tidewater set out to create the best boat value for money. Many years later, Tidewater developed into one of the fastest growing, most popular saltwater center console boats in the industry.

Born in the Midlands of South Carolina, where Marine Craftsmanship is a staple of the economy, Tidewater Boats has historically utilized the best manufacturing materials and skilled labor to produce a boat worthy of proud ownership.

So, if you are wondering why you should choose a Tidewater quality, affordable, offshore fishing boats, here are a couple of reasons. The owners of line were previously designers and owners of the original Sea Pro Boats. Tidewater competes with many of the other South Carolina built boats that include Sea Hunt, Sportsman, Key West and Sea Pro.

But the difference reflects on the passion for boat building, which led to a distinctive, solid, mid-tier coastal Carolina boat. Manufactured in Lexington, SC, Tidewater offers fishing boats and center consoles from 18 to 32 feet.

Already knowing what boaters desired, Tidewater Boats had key points they wanted to establish in their brand. First, and the most easily recognizable, is a distinctive Carolina bow flare and beautiful shear line that sets it apart on the water. In addition to its beauty, the flare, deep dead rise and reverse chine provides a very dry and comfortable ride in any condition. Second is the fact that they foam fill not only the bottom, but also the hull sides. This foam creates an extremely solid and quiet ride. Lastly is Tidewater’s Corrugated Grid Stringer Vertebra (CGSV). CGSV is designed for each model to ensure components are supported and provide strength with the foam filled hull.

Tidewater offers bay boats in their Bay Max and Carolina bay series ranging in size from 19 to 27 feet. Both models offer dual live wells, large consoles and ample bow and deck casting areas. Additionally, the Carolina Bay series from 20 to 27 feet has a much larger bow casting area and more flair for improved ride in rougher conditions.

Tidewater center consoles range from 18 to 32 feet and are offered in the Adventure series as well as the LXF series. The Adventure series, fishing boats are designed with fishermen in mind with more cockpit floor space aft and rod holders abundant. The LXF series, built on the same aggressive hull, offers full bench seating aft as well as additional lounge seating in the bow area.  Both models have their unique hinged bow backrests and cushion seating making them family friendly boats.

Tidewater Boats are powered with two of the top engine brands out there: Yamaha and Mercury. Yamaha has consistently been a great package with the Tidewater Boats providing the performance customers are seeking. The same can be said for Mercury. Mercury’s focus on reduced noise vibration, quiet, durable and powerful are sure to compliment the Tidewater Boats well.

So whether you are taking the grandson to that secret fishing hole, riding the family out to watch the sunset, or running offshore until the water turns deep blue, you can have confidence in Tidewater Boats and Yamaha engines for years of dependable service.
